Sullivan Named GM, Milwaukee Radio Alliance
• Veteran broadcasting executive Chuck Sullivan has been appointed General Manager of Milwaukee Radio Alliance — AC WLDB (B93.3), Alternative WLUM (FM 102.1) and Classic Hits WZTI (Fonz FM)/Milwaukee, a trio co-owned and operated by Times Shamrock Communications and All-Pro Broadcasting.
Sullivan is already well acquainted with the Milwaukee market, having spent the past seven years with Audacy as SVP/Market Manager for Denver, Milwaukee & Madison. Sullivan previously served in leadership roles for Cumulus Media in Mobile, AL and Destin, FL, and Ocean Broadcasting in Wilmington, NC.
“We are excited to bring Chuck on to our team and back to the Milwaukee market,” said Times Shamrock CEO, Jim Lewandowski. “Chuck’s extensive experience, detailed market knowledge and desire to drive content and revenue coupled with passion to build relationships are the reasons we are excited for Chuck to lead MRA forward.”
Sullivan remarked, “It’s a homecoming of sorts, having spent six-plus years previously in Milwaukee. I’m eager for the opportunity to reconnect with friends and clients.” He added, “It’s truly a unique opportunity in our industry, given the independent and cooperative culture. I look forward to working with the MRA team and meeting our partners.” Sullivan succeeds Patrick Pendergast, who exits.
