• UPDATED: RAMP has learned that several talented broadcast professionals have been downsized inside iHeartMedia’s Total Traffic & Weather Network, part of a larger company-wide restructuring.
One of those guys is our longtime friend and former R&R colleague Roger Nadel (left), an 11-year TTWN veteran who was most recently SVP of Affiliate Services, overseeing station affiliations in the Western U.S., managing a 10-person Affiliate Services team that is responsible for Compliance and Affiliate Administration. Previous career highlights include 25+ years with CBS Radio, including 11 years managing stations in Detroit (WWJ-AM & WYST-FM) and KFWB-AM/Los Angeles. That was followed by a year as Executive Editor at the late, great R&R and two years managing Sporting News Radio’s KMPC-AM/Los Angeles.

• Also out: Christopher Leonard (left), VP of Affiliate Sales for the Southeast region at TTWN. Chris spent a total of 26 years working for the same company since 1993 (under the evolving banners of Metro Networks, Westwood One, Metro-Shadow, TTWN), in a wide variety of roles — on-air, airborne, managing operations hubs and affiliate sales. Leonard says, “I specialized in content distribution across multiple platforms that included both television and radio.
