Benztown + National Radio Talent System
• Benztown, that global hotspot of radio imaging, voiceover services, production libraries, programming and jingles, yesterday announced that it will support the National Radio Talent System™ and its National Radio Talent Institute™ as a new National Supporting Sponsorship Partner. In addition to providing financial support for the National Radio Talent System, Benztown will provide every National Radio Talent Institute student with a USB drive fully loaded with Benztown audio production components to give them the industry’s best tools to help launch their creative careers.
The National Radio Talent System was created by veteran broadcaster Dan Vallie to provide a radio talent farm for the industry; an incubator of well rounded, well-educated college talent with a passion for radio and a determination to get into the business. Students work through an intensive 10-day program that covers on-air, programming, writing, news, sports and sales. All students also participate in RAB training and take the exam to earn their Radio Marketing Professional Certification.
Dave “Chachi” Denes, Benztown President, said, “New talent is the lifeblood of our industry. We are proud to support the National Radio Talent System, an innovative program dedicated to attracting and training the brightest new talent for stations across the country. We’re especially pleased to donate a cache of highest quality Benztown audio production tools to every National Radio Talent Institute student to help them jump-start their creative careers into high gear following completion of the program.”
Vallie commented, “We are very proud to have Benztown on the team. The collaborative effort of forward thinking broadcasters and companies like Benztown is helping to make a National Radio Talent System for the industry a reality. Partnering with Benztown is a joy, Chachi Denes and Chris Johansing do great work and are real pros. Benztown loves and believes in the future of the industry, and it shows.”
