• #LovePup, a non-profit organization co-founded by Johnjay Van Es of iHeartMedia’s Johnjay & Rich Show and his wife, Blake (both pictured here with some close, cuddly friends) has joined forces with Safeway and Albertsons stores across Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas and Utah to raise donations for local animal welfare organizations.
The issue of homeless dogs and cats is a huge problem in the Southwest, with more than 50,000 animals entering area shelters every year. Animal Welfare organization in these communities need help with medical care, vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchipping. You can help by visiting any area Safeway or Albertsons location during the month of February and while checking out, make a donation using the pin pad to help save homeless animals. Each donation benefits several animal welfare organizations in Arizona, Las Vegas and Las Cruces, NM. We are trying to hit $1,000,000 in donations this year!
