Garner Show Ending, Lia Doubles Up
• RAMP has confirmed that Westwood One will discontinue the distribution of The Blair Garner Show, effective Sunday, August 9. At the same time it was announced that Lia Knight, longtime host of The Lia Show enjoyed 7-midnight six nights a week, will extend her brand and add a second syndicated show from midnight-5am, to be delivered seven nights a week.
The letter to current Blair Garner Show affiliates promises “no interruption in service,” as it reads, in part, “We’ll make the change from The Blair Garner Show to The Lia Show easy for you. Same receiver, same clock, same inventory, same closures delivered seven nights per week — the only change for you is the host.”
