Gray & Perloff Join CBS Sports Radio
• Earlier this week Audacy announced it was migrating the Tiki & Tierney show from CBS Sports Radio over to middays on WFAN/New York, starting Jan. 3.
Turnabout being fair play, CBS Sports Radio announced that it was teaming up soon-to-be-former WFAN midday co-host Maggie Gray and sports radio vet Andrew Perloff to host a new afternoon drive show, to be carried on over 300 stations weekdays from 3-6pm, beginning Jan. 3.
The move marks a return to CBS Sports Radio for Gray (left), who co-hosted a Saturday morning show there from 2013 to 2018, before joining WFAN for middays. Gray is also an analyst for SNY and appears on Baseball Night in New York. She previously spent eight years at Sports Illustrated, hosting SI NOW on SI.com and reporting from marquee sports events throughout the country. Gray earlier worked for MLB.com, NBA TV and MSG Network. Perloff (right) has been known and loved as the character “McLovin” on The Dan Patrick Show since 2009. Like Gray, he previously worked for Sports Illustrated and SI.com as an editor and contributing writer and also co-hosted his own weekend show at NBC Sports Radio from 2016-2019.
“We’re excited to grow Maggie’s footprint to a wider national audience on CBS Sports Radio and welcome Andrew to join her as co-host,” said Spike Eskin, VP of Programming for WFAN & CBS Sports Radio. “Together, Maggie and Andrew will deliver a fresh weekday show for our listeners, adding another must-listen program to the station’s impressive slate of content.”
