Stephen Hubbard has been named ABC’s Country Producer. In a staff memo, ABC Radio VP/GM Steve Jones explained that the Nashville-based Hubbard (pictured here with Kelsea Ballerini) will be “reporting primarily for ABC Radio but also supporting all ABC News platforms. Stephen has contributed country content to ABC Radio since 2010, and most recently was a producer at our ABC-TV affiliate, WKRN/Nashville.”

Jones added, “With more than 20 years of experience, Stephen has worked on a variety of projects, including CMT specials starring Reba McEntire and Miranda Lambert, Great American Country’s Opry Live, Music City Keep on Playin’, a benefit concert for the victims of the 2010 Nashville flood, and Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountains Rise telethon after the 2016 East Tennessee wildfires. He recently interviewed Shania Twain, Thomas Rhett, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts and Brad Paisley. This summer, Stephen worked on ABC Radio’s 4th of July special, Country Family Salute with Josh Turner and ABC Radio’s Memorial Day special, Kelsea Ballerini’s Summer Road Trip. In 2012, Stephen received an award for Best TV Producing in Tennessee from the Associated Press and has been nominated for two Emmys.”
