iHeartMedia, Harvey Renew Vows

iHeartMedia announced an exclusive long-term agreement with Steve Harvey to renew and extend his relationship with the company. Under the terms of this new deal, Harvey will continue to host The Steve Harvey Morning Show, which this year celebrates 12 years in syndication with Premiere Networks and is heard on nearly 100 stations. Harvey will also work with iHeartMedia on a variety of projects, including development and creation of new programming and promotions, community and charitable initiatives, as well as multimedia projects and events. He will continue to serve as a spokesperson for the company.

“Steve is a tremendous talent and has an incredible connection with audiences across multiple platforms, which make him a great asset for iHeartMedia,” said Bob Pittman, Chairman and CEO of iHeartMedia. “We are excited to extend our partnership with Steve, continuing to deliver the most engaging content and top personalities to our listeners nationwide.” Harvey said, “We’ve got some big plans in the works, and I think listeners are going to love what they hear. I’m excited to continue working with my partners, iHeartMedia and Premiere as we take my show to new heights. In the words of Bruno Mars, ‘If you don’t believe me, just watch.'”

The Steve Harvey Morning Show was created by Harvey in September 2000 and joined the Premiere Networks lineup in 2005. The show stars Harvey and his co-hosts Shirley Strawberry, Nephew Tommy, Carla Ferrell and Junior and rolls live weekdays from 6-10am ET.
