Turnquist In Demand @ WEZN
• Connoisseur Connecticut keeps it in the family and rewards Christian Turnquist with a promotion to middays on WEZN (Star 99.9)/Bridgeport, effective Tuesday, Sept. 4. Turnquist already knows where the Star 99.9 coffee machine is located — he’s been the Producer of the Anna and Ravenmorning show for the past year — a role he will retain, along with his shiny new 10am-3pm shift.
“We pride ourselves on hiring and growing talent and, when the opportunity arises, putting them in key positions,” said Star 99.9 PD Kevin Begley, adding, “It’s a true joy to see someone like Christian grow from an intern into one of the most important jocks on Star.”
