A few highlights from this year’s study: 1) 2017’s most-played Christmas song was Mariah Carey‘s “All I Want for Christmas is You.” 2) The classics continue to rule, with two versions of “Jingle Bell Rock” and two versions of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” landing in the Top 10. 3) Fourteen of the Top 20-testing songs were recorded between 1942 and 1970. 4) Listeners of Classic Rock, Classic Hits, Country, Top 40, AC, Rock/Alternative and Christian formats are most likely to listen to an All-Christmas format.
