• Hubbard Radio has rebranded ESPN affiliate KSTP-AM (1500 ESPN)/Minneapolis-St. Paul as SKOR North, described as “a digital-first sports content brand” that will create and distribute content across multiple traditional and digital platforms, including 1500 AM, 94.5 HD-2, streaming, a dedicated SKOR North app, podcasts and various social media channels.

Operating under the slogan “Minnesota Sports. Anytime. Anywhere,” SKOR North programming will broadcast live on 1500 AM weekdays from noon-7pm, using a combination of local and ESPN Radio programming, along with more than 15 podcasts.

“We’re excited to entertain and connect with Minnesota sports fans on multiple platforms — in addition to radio,” said Phil Mackey, Director of Content. “And we hope people will find our shows, personalities, written work and social media to be a combination of fun, creative, intelligent and audience-inclusive.”

Dan Seeman, VP and Region Manager for Hubbard Radio Minnesota, said, “The media landscape is changing and sports fans have never had more options to get sports content. Today’s fans want sports information and opinions on their radio, mobile phone, desktop computer and smart speakers at home. SKOR North is a content company first. We will create great sports content that will be distributed on multiple platforms so Minnesota sports fans can listen, watch or read about Minnesota sports teams when they want it, where they want it and how they want it.”
