Westwood One Ups Alan, Welcomes Bell

• Westwood One announces the promotion of Todd Alan from Director, Affiliate Sales to Vice President, Affiliate Sales, Music & Entertainment. In his newly enhanced role, Alan will manage and develop the company’s station relationships and distribution partnerships across its music and entertainment programming, including Westwood One Backstage live marquee events and radio row activations. Alan is based in New York City and reports to Stuart Greenblatt, SVP, Affiliate Sales. Concurrently, Westwood One has hired affiliate sales specialist Julie Bell to succeed Alan as Director, Affiliate Sales, Music & Entertainment, reporting directly to him.

Alan has spent 16 years at Westwood One, with affiliate sales experience in Entertainment and Talk programming. He also spent two years as a VP, Affiliate Sales and Programming for Focus 360, LLC. Prior to Westwood One, Alan was Director of Affiliate Marketing for LAUNCH Media and Affiliate Sales Manager for OnRadio. Ms. Bell segues from Superadio Networks, where she has served as Nat’l Director Content & Affiliate Relations since Nov. 2018. Before that she spent 20 years with United Stations, rising to Regional Director, Affiliate Relations. She also served as National Director, Content & Affiliate Relations at Superadio and Director of Client Services and Research Manager for Vallie-Richards Consulting.
