Herrmann Upped To PD Of BEN-FM/Philly
• Beasley Media Group announced that Kristen Herrmann has been promoted to Program Director of Adult Hits WBEN (95.7 BEN-FM)/Philadelphia. She officially began her new position on Monday, October 5.
Herrmann has been in the building since 2005 and joined BEN-FM in 2012 as Production Director and midday talent. She later served as morning co-host and did afternoon drive; she currently anchors the morning show solo. She succeeds longtime cluster vet Chuck Damico, who in June transitioned over to the PD chair at Sports-Talk WPEN (97.5 The Fanatic) and was named Brand Consultant to BEN FM, while retaining his APD stripes for 93.3 WMMR.
“Kristen is the perfect person to move into the role of Program Director for 95.7 BEN FM,” said Damico. “Nobody knows the brand and audience better. We’re very lucky to have her here and excited for the future of the radio station!” Herrmann commented, “I fell in love with BEN-FM long before I began working here, and I’m so incredibly excited about this new opportunity. Thanks so much to Chuck Damico, Joe Bell and Beasley Media Group for the continued trust, and for the many opportunities I’ve been given.”
