Krauss Joe 2017• Milwaukee Radio Alliance just introduced Joe Krauss as the new morning personality on AC WLDB (B93.3). Krauss is the artist formerly known as “Average Joe,” who spent the past five years in middays on CBS Radio’s WQAL (Q104)/Cleveland. The move marks a homecoming for Krauss, a Milwaukee native who previously worked at WIXX/Green Bay, WHBZ/Sheboygan and WMIL/Milwaukee. “Joe is a great talent who knows how to entertain and engage his audience in today’s fast-paced world,” said B93.3 PD Michelle Rutkowski. “We are excited to have him at B93.3 as we look to build on the great momentum we’ve had over the past several months. Plus, he grew up here, so I don’t have to teach him how to pronounce ‘Oconomowoc,’ which is nice.”

Krauss commented, “I’m so happy to be back in my hometown waking up Milwaukee on B93.3. If you see a dad chasing two toddlers around Mayfair Mall, that’s probably me… I will need help.”

McClure Tara 2017• Talk about coming full-circle — Scripps Top 40 KHTT (106.9 K-Hits)/Tulsa welcomes former intern Tara McClure back to the station, this time as morning co-host! Her first official day with Jacob “Chubbs” Day on the morning show will be Wednesday, April 5. As OM Steve Hunter explains, McClure has worked in radio since she was 16 and started as a night show intern on K-Hits. She went on to work at KKWD (Wild 104.9) and KATT (Rock 100.5)/Oklahoma City while working towards her Opera degree at the University of Central Oklahoma. After college,  McClure returned to Tulsa, doing mornings on KMYZ and KMOD. She later did morning news on Cox Media Group’s KRMG and was the Associate Producer for the evening news on Fox 23. McClure most recently did mornings on KAZR/Des Moines, IA.

“I’m looking forward to joining Scripps Media Tulsa and working with the great team that has been assembled by David Abel, Steve Hunter and Tabatha Grammer,” said McClure. “It’s so refreshing to work for a company that believes in local radio and is so community focused. No one is you, and that is your power.” McClure succeeds Aly Presser, now APD/afternoon personality on iHeartMedia Top 40 WZEE (Z104)/Madison, WI.
