Jessen Comes Home To Atlanta
• Cox Media Group Atlanta welcomes company veteran Abby Jessen as Asst. Director of Branding & Programming and midday talent for AC WSB-FM (B98.5).
Jessen transfers to Atlanta after nearly three years with CMG Tulsa, where she was Director of Branding & Programming and afternoon personality on Hot AC KRAV (Mix 96.5). The new gig marks a homecoming for Jessen, an Atlanta native and graduate of the University of Georgia, who launched her radio career with CMG Athens, GA, programming News-Talk WGAU and Adult Hits WXKT (103.7 Chuck FM). Jessen continues to track nights on Country 106.1 WNGC/Athens.
“Abby is intelligent, vibrant, and full of energy. Her dedication to CMG and her passion for radio are palpable and she is a true, rising star,” said Emily Boldon, Director of Operations for CMG Atlanta. “I look forward to what she will bring to CMG Atlanta as we head into this new chapter on B98.5.”
Jaleigh Long, VP/Market Manager, CMG Atlanta Radio noted, “I’m thrilled to welcome Abby home and have such a spectacular talent inside Cox Media Group to promote to this critical role.”
Jessen remarked, “I grew up listening to B98.5, so it’s truly a dream to be back home working for a station I have always loved! I can’t thank Rob Babin, Chris Eagan, Jaleigh Long and Emily Boldon enough for this opportunity.” Send your best “welcome home” wishes to Abby.Jessen@cmg.com.
