Dillon Held Over At KKBQ/Houston

• Congrats to Corey Dillon, who recently completed his second year of service in middays at CMG Country KKBQ (93Q)/Houston, and has been formally invited to stick around for a few more years and also add bonus Producer duties for the 93Q Morning Show with Riggs, Katelyn, and Erica.

Dillon remarked, “I’m excited for the role, and being able to work and learn from some amazing people in that room. The talent there is incredible and I’m just happy to be a part of the show.”

Dillon joined 93Q in March 2021 after a stint in afternoons and middays on former Hubbard Country KNUC (98.9 The Bull)/Seattle. The 93Q gig marked a return to Houston for Dillon, who previously did nights on Entercom rival KILT-FM (100.3 The Bull). Earlier in his career Dillon did late nights on XHTZ (Z90)/San Diego, nights at WXXX (95 Triple X)/Burlington, VT and weekends on WODS (the former 103.3 AMP Radio) in his hometown of Boston. Your best wishes can be sent to Dillon at corey.dillon@cmg.com.

Note: KKBQ and Classic Rock simulcast KHPT/KGLK (The Eagle 106.9 & 107.5) are in the process of being sold by Cox Media Group to Urban One.
