Higher Calling For Maranville

Veteran programmer Tim “Doc” Maranville is headed back to the west coast as the newly named President/General Manager of the future KGGN-FM in Hemet, CA, a Class A CP at 102.5 owned by Cornerstone Church and serving the San Jacinto Valley north of San Diego. The move comes with an exciting cross-country road trip for Maranville, who has spent the past year as Director of Programming for Curtis Media Group Adult Hits WBBB (Radio 96.1)/Raleigh.

Prior to landing in Raleigh, Maranville worked for USA Radio Networks, preceded by a six-year run as VP of Programming with Westwood One. His radio career has also taken him to San Francisco, Phoenix, and Denver.

Ed Krick, Executive Director of Cornerstone Church, said, “I’m thrilled that Tim agreed to join Cornerstone for this project. We are excited to see what God will do in this situation!” Maranville added, “I would like to thank my team at WBBB for an extraordinary run from worst to best in Raleigh, a true blessing. Looking to the future, I could not be happier to be working with Cornerstone to bring the Gospel to the San Jacinto Valley through a local radio presence.” Maranville can be contacted at 480-250-1079 or timmaranville@gmail.com.
