A PD The Whole Office Agrees On

Veteran Tampa Bay morning personality Chadd Thomas has been upped to PD of Beasley’s five-month-old Tampa AC station, WPBB (b98.7). “Everything about Chadd defines a natural leader who loves radio!” noted Operations Manager Tee Gentry. “I’m absolutely certain Chadd will shine in this new Program Director role and we’re proud to place him at the helm of programming at b98.7, effective immediately.”

Thomas began his radio career in Ft. Wayne, Indiana with a stop in Gainesville before settling into Tampa Bay, where he and his wife/morning co-host Kristi famously spent 17 years across the street on Cox Media Group Hot AC WWRM (Magic 94.9) until February of this year, when they debuted in mornings on b98.7, Beasley’s former Rock outlet WBRN. No less thrilled and/or excited about his new role is Thomas, who said, “I’m thrilled to serve as Program Director for our family-fun morning show and our entirely new b98.7! I’m looking forward to continue co-hosting with Kristi, my wife and morning show partner.
