Big week for Jon Que, midday personality on CBS Radio Top 40 KLUC/Las Vegas — the company announced that Que has a) been signed to a new multi-year agreement, and b) promoted to Music Director for KLUC and APD/MD for 98.5 HD-2 Da Shaka, Vegas’ Island and Reggae Station. Originally from Hawaii, Que has been in the radio industry since 2000; he moved to Las Vegas in 2007 to join KLUC.
In making the announcement, OM JB King said, “I love it when I can reward hard work. Jon has been assisting within music department on KLUC for nearly two years and has a great ear for the sound of KLUC. He truly earned this job with his passion and dedication. Not to mention, he was the backbone for the launch and our early success of 98.5 HD-2 Da Shaka. I’m happy that he will continue with a great midday show and finding the best music for 98.5 KLUC.”
An elated Que commented, “To be entrusted with these new roles by one of the best programmers and Operations Managers in the country is beyond me.
