Bedell Tapped As Binnie’s Maine Midcoast Mgr.
• Don Bedell is packing for a move to the beautiful state of Maine, hired by Binnie Media as Market Manager for the Midcoast/Rockland region, which includes Classic Hits WBQX (106.9 Frank FM) and Country WBYA (105.5 The Wolf).
Bedell brings with him more than 30 years of radio, television, video production, print and digital experience, most recently as Director of Business Support for NPR affiliate WPSU-FM and PBS affiliate WPSU-TV at Penn State University, where he also co-produced a weekly local music radio show. Earlier radio stops include WAIS-AM & WSEO-FM/Nelsonville, OH, WZKL-FM & WDPN-AM/Alliance-Canton, OH, WBTQ/Buckhannon, WV, and Forever Media’s stations in Altoona & State College, PA. Bedell also served as Market Manager for Seven Mountains Media’s cluster in State College, PA.

Bedell, who expected to start in the Midcoast this summer, said, “Ever since honeymooning in Camden, ME 32 years ago, my wife and I have discussed ending up on the Midcoast of Maine.
