Remembering Robin Marshall
• We’ve lost yet another amazingly talented industry veteran, and far too soon — Robin Marshall passed away on Sunday, May 18, after a valiant 12-year battle with several types of cancer. She was 68 years old.
Robin got her radio start in 1986 at the late WAPP/New York, which later became WQHT. She also worked at WPIX-FM, and WQCD-FM, where she was also the station voice. Her last New York radio job was at WWFS (Fresh 102.7) before she moved to North Carolina and worked at WLNK/Charlotte for a spell. Her most recent radio position was Creator of Cumulus Sound Solutions in Dallas.
Robin then relocated to Florida, where she met Michael Kugler, her husband of eight years. During that time she also reignited her passion for painting in many mediums, and held showings all over South Florida.
In addition to Michael, Robin is survived by her five children, Dylan, Cassidy, Brandy, Wren and Lacey. Robin’s many heartbroken friends and colleagues have been sharing their love on her Facebook page, and you are invited to do the same.
