It’s A Wrap For Reynolds

Reynolds graciously shared some of her parting thoughts with RAMP, noting, “I’ve been extraordinarily lucky that I’ve been able to work with some of the greatest broadcasters ever at legendary stations all over the place — starting in my hometown of Chicago with a quick stint at WGN, then at WLS-AM/FM in 1983, which was my training ground and set me off on this path that I could never have imagined.”
Reynolds then moved to Portland, OR for the first time to work at KKCW as Marketing/Promotion Director, followed by a move to San Francisco and KSFO/KYA & KSOL. Reynolds then returned to Portland for a 15-year stint at CBS Radio (KUFO, KUPL, KINK, etc.), which brings us to Montreal, “Where I somehow landed a job as a talk show producer at CJAD-AM,” said Reynolds, adding, “Might I mention that living in French-speaking Quebec without knowing the language was somewhat of a challenge.”
She continued, “For the last 8 1/2 years I’ve been at iHeartRadio working with an amazing team at KKCW (2nd tour of duty), as well as KLTH, KFBW, KKRZ, KXJM, KPOJ & KEX. It’s been a remarkable career, and I never dreamed it would continue as long as it has.”
In closing, Reynolds said, “Stepping away is both difficult and exciting. As for what’s next — that remains to be seen. I’ve got quite a few stories that are itching to be told, I have a new puppy who is quite unruly & needs to be trained, and I’m also open to taking on a project or two if anyone would like to tap into my knowledge of marketing/promotions/events. One thing is for sure,” Reynolds told us, “I am definitely about to enter my sourdough era, so a tasty treat might just end up on your doorstep one of these days!”
• The search is now underway for Reynolds’ worthy successor — the position is now posted on the iHeartMedia Careers Portal of Destiny™ (Req 37113).
