New Q99.7/Atlanta Lineup Nearly Complete

• Cumulus Top 40 WWWQ (Q99.7)/Atlanta unveiled more of its new weekday on-air lineup today. As we reported last week, Kristin Klingshirn, former longtime co-host of The Bert Show reappears in afternoon drive to anchor The Kristin Show.

She will be joined by co-host Ethan Cole (left), who previously did afternoon drive across the street on iHeartMedia rival WWPW (Power 96.1 — now Power 105.3), and was most recently heard on Bonneville Hot AC KZZO (Now 100.5)/Sacramento. He’s also worked in New Bedford, MA, and San Diego.

Current afternoon talent Jade Jones (left) moves into midday slot, while evenings remain fully live and local as Q99.7’s Laura Dickerson (right) transitions from middays to 7-Midnight, continuing the station’s commitment to real-time presence and engagement well beyond daytime hours. Overnight programming will continue with Westwood One’s nationally syndicated Nightly with Jade & Tyler from midnight-5am.

Patrick Davis, Program Director of Q99.7, said, “This new lineup marks an exciting evolution for Q99.7. Pieces of our new world are coming together, and planets are aligning. With Jade in Middays, Kristin and Ethan in Afternoon Drive, Laura in Nights, and Overnights with Jade & Tyler, the station is packed with highly creative and entertaining personalities delivering an enhanced and unique listening experience that Atlanta will love. There’s even more in store for Q99.7 listeners this year, and we can’t wait for it all to unfold.”

The obvious missing piece of this enhanced lineup is a new morning show, and we are told to expect that announcement soon.

Ethan Cole, co-host of The Kristin Show, commented, “As someone who’s been on the air in Atlanta for several years, I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with Kristin… as in, I loved to hate her because of how good The Bert Show was. This is like being traded from the Saints to the Falcons. I’m so excited for this opportunity and incredibly thankful to everyone involved in making it happen. All I can say is… Atlanta, I’m home!”

Jade Jones remarked, “Atlanta has always shown me so much love, and being able to connect with listeners during the heart of their day is something I don’t take lightly. Get ready for new energy, companionship, and fun. I can’ wait to bring that vibe to the city every day!”

Laura Dickerson noted, “The vision Patrick Davis is building is inspiring. I’m thrilled to be part of the incredible team kicking off this new chapter in Atlanta radio history. We’re just getting started!”
