KCMO/Kansas City Expands Into Topeka 

• Cumulus Media has expanded the broadcast footprint of its powerhouse Kansas City Talk radio station, KCMO (Talk Radio 95.7/710AM) with the launch of a full-time simulcast on sister 102.9 KTOP/Topeka, KS, formerly 102.9 Cat Country. The simulcast kicked off Monday at noon CT.

Moments after the giant red switch was thrown, Pete Mundo, Cumulus VP of News/Talk and PD/morning host on KCMO, said, “Bringing KCMO Talk Radio to the Topeka market is a natural fit. From the Governor’s Office to the Statehouse, much of the news driving our daily programming originates in the state capital.
