Casey Daniels Wakes Up In Charlottesville

• Last month we reported that Casey Daniels had stepped down as 9am-noon host on Radio One News-Talk 93.1 WIBC/Indianapolis and was packing for a move to Virginia… now we know where… Daniels has joined Saga’s Charlottesville Media Group as the new morning host on AC WQMZ (Z95.1)/Charlottesville. She succeeds Sherry Taylor, who departed earlier this year.

Indiana native Daniels joined WIBC in March 2022, transitioning from the PD/morning co-host post at Townsquare Classic Hits WFGR/Grand Rapids, MI. Daniels earlier served a brief stint as OM of Adams Radio Group’s Tallahassee, FL cluster, preceded by six years as a Producer/Host at Sinclair’s WSBT-TV/South Bend, IN. Daniels notably spent 11 years with Artistic Media Partners in South Bend, rising to VP of Programming and PD of WNDV (U93). Other on-air stops include WZPL/Indianapolis, WZOW & WWLV/South Bend, WHZZ/Lansing, MI and WCSX/Detroit.
