WLRH Unveils Expanded Triple A Content

The refreshed lineup (details HERE) is the latest step in WLRH’s evolution following its high-profile decision last October to end its NPR affiliation after Congress eliminated federal funding for public media. Since then, the station has continued to build audience and community support, climbing to No. 4 (12+) in the Huntsville market in the March-April-May Nielsen CDM ratings.

“Triple A is one of radio’s great discovery formats, and it aligns perfectly with public radio’s mission of introducing listeners to something new,” said GM Erich Brukner. Music scheduling is overseen by market veteran Marsha Arends. Record labels and promoters may service music to WLRH Public Radio, UAH Campus, 301 Sparkman Drive, Huntsville, AL 35899, or contact Marsha directly at marsha@wlrh.org.
