A Savage Upgrade At Feed Media Group
• Mike Savage has been promoted to Principal Curator, Music Business Development at Feed Media Group (FMG), described as “the leading B2B music streaming and licensing platform that helps businesses integrate legal, major-label popular music into digital apps, websites, and connected devices.”
In this expanded role, the Nashville-based Savage will oversee A&R and release strategy for the company’s Feed Originals catalog, develop new sync and label-services opportunities, and continue curating music for Feed.fm‘s brand and digital-platform partners, including, in his words, “some of the biggest fitness companies in the world!”
Savage joined Feed Media Group in August 2021 as Music Curator, and was later upped to Artist Relations Lead/Sr. Music Curator. He earlier served as Manager, Artist & Partner Relations for TuneCore.
Savage has been on-air talent and Music Director at X-107/New York, Y-107 & Indie 103.1/Los Angeles and KFSD/San Diego. He also programmed The World Chart Show for Radio Express and several channels for Slacker. He’s been the imaging voice for SiriusXM’s The Spectrum for six years, and just took on a similar role at CIDM-FM (Indie88 Toronto).
