Couture Named AM Co-Host, Lite 96/TVC
• After an extensive search and a bunch of great candidates, MacDonald Garber AC WLXT (Lite 96)/Traverse City-Petoskey, MI is happy to announce major market veteran Riley Couture as the new co-host of the Lite Breakfast Show, joining PD Mark Elliott.

Couture most recently co-hosted Your Morning Show — and before that — The Kane Show — on iHeartMedia Top 40 duo WIHT (Hot 99.5)/Washington and WZFT (Z104.3)/Baltimore until late 2022. She previously co-hosted mornings on iHeart Top 40 WWPW (Power 96.1)/Atlanta and was a member of the former Woody & Jim morning show on WRVW (107.5 The River)/Nashville. She earlier did mornings, afternoons and middays on WHBQ/Memphis, co-hosted mornings on WSNX/Grand Rapids, MI, and began her radio career in 2004 as an intern with WFLZ/Tampa.
“My journey through radio has been filled with so many peaks and valleys, but through it all, morning radio has always been my passion,” Couture said. “I’ve spent more than half of my adult life behind a microphone, and I’m so excited to step into this next chapter as co-host of The Lite Breakfast Show alongside Mark Elliott. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to get behind the mic and get to work!”
Elliott, who has been the solo host of the Breakfast Show, is just happy to have someone to talk to every morning.
