McCormack Upped To GM, Saga Hampton Roads

• Saga’s Hampton Roads Media Group announced the promotion of Tiffany McCormack from Director of Sales to General Manager, succeeding Carol Commander, who steps away after more than 25 years of distinguished service with the company.

“Tiffany is a proven leader who combines a deep understanding of our business with an unwavering commitment to our clients, our employees, and the Hampton Roads community,” said Wayne Leland, Chief Operating Officer of Saga Communications. “Throughout her career she has consistently delivered results, developed strong teams, and embraced innovation. We are excited to see her lead Hampton Roads Media Group into its next chapter.”

McCormack joined Hampton Roads Media Group in 2014 as an Account Executive. She was subsequently promoted to Digital Sales Manager and later Director of Sales, where she played a key role in driving revenue growth, expanding digital sales initiatives, and developing high-performing sales teams.

“I’m honored by the opportunity to serve as General Manager and grateful for the confidence the Saga leadership has placed in me,” said McCormack. “Our mission remains the same: helping local businesses grow by connecting them with audiences through trusted media brands and effective marketing solutions. I’m excited to continue working alongside our talented team to deliver results for our clients and while serving the Hampton Roads community.”

Speaking of Carol Commander’s lengthy tenure, Leland said, “Carol’s impact on this organization and the Hampton Roads market has been extraordinary. Her contributions, professionalism, and dedication have helped shape the success of this company for more than two decades. We thank her for her many contributions and wish her happiness and success.”
