The Show Must Go On… & Will
• iHeartMedia Active Rock KIOZ (Rock 105.3)/San Diego announced a sweet four-year contract extension for the station’s already heritage wake-up crew, “The Show,” anchored by Eddie Pappani, Sky Williams, “Thor” and Emily Griffiths. The new deal follows a five-year extension they signed in Nov. 2021.
Pappani’s and Williams’ tenure with the morning show dates back to 2004, while “The Show” was formally established in 2010. This new deal, if we’ve done the mental math properly, extends their current reign until at least 2030.
“We are more than thrilled to remain a part of the iHeart team and continue to try and entertain San Diego every morning,” said Pappani. “It’s crazy to think about being on this station in this market for as long as we have been. Truly blessed and excited to see what the next four years bring!”
