First Grammy Performers Announced
The first round of performers for next month’s 59th Annual Grammy Awards® has been announced — please welcome 10-time Grammy winner John Legend, eight-time Grammy-winning band Metallica, and seven-time Grammy winner and current nominee Carrie Underwood with four-time Grammy winner and current two-time nominee Keith Urban.
Metallica’s James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich are nominated for Best Rock Song for “Hardwired.” Underwood is nominated for Best Country Solo Performance for “Church Bells” and Urban is up for Best Country Album (Ripcord) and Best Country Solo Performance for “Blue Ain’t Your Color.”
James Corden is set to host Music’s Biggest Night® for the first time. The action happens at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 8pm ET/5pm PT on CBS-TV. Additional performers will be announced shortly.
