Francesa To Host Radio HOF Induction

• Mike Francesa, the longtime afternoon talent on Entercom Sports-Talk WFAN/New York will host the 31st Annual Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremony and celebration. The black-tie optional event is happening Nov. 8 at Gotham Hall in midtown Manhattan. The selection of Francesa makes perfect sense — he’s a 2018 Radio Hall of Fame inductee himself, so he knows his way around the HOF hardware.

The RHOF Class of 2019 includes Sean “Hollywood” Hamilton, Harry Harrison, Kevin Ryder and Gene “Bean” Baxter (Kevin & Bean), Joe Madison, Jim Rome, Ryan Seacrest, John Tesh and Dr. Ruth Westheimer.

Kraig Kitchin, Chairman of the Radio Hall of Fame, said, “Quintessential New Yorker Mike Francesa will bring big energy, humor, and great perspective to this year’s Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremony. We’re honored to have him as our master of ceremonies.” Tickets are now available at radiohalloffame.com. A portion of ticket purchases is a tax-deductible charitable donation to the Museum of Broadcast Communications. The Mix Group is the presenting sponsor of the Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
