Meet Your 2021 Country Radio HOF Inductees

• The Country Radio Broadcasters just announced the Country Radio Hall of Fame Class of 2021 inductees. The off-air honorees are Bob Call, VP/Market Manager, KYGO/Denver; RJ Curtis, Executive Director, Country Radio Broadcasters; Bill Hagy, consultant, Bristol Broadcasting; and the late, legendary Norm Schrutt, former Pres., Owned Radio Stations for Cap Cities/ABC.

The on-air honorees are Heather Froglear, APD/MD, KFRG/Riverside;  Buzz Jackson, PD/afternoon personality, KIIM/Tucson; Texas Radio Hall of Famer Bob Pickett, and Angie Ward, APD/middays, WUBL/Atlanta.

CRB’s Country Radio Hall of Fame Committee Chairman, Joel Raab, commented, “Country Radio should be extremely proud of this year’s 2021 Hall of Fame Inductees. They represent the best of the best from a large group of excellent nominees.”

The Country Radio Hall of Fame Induction and Dinner will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021 at the Westin Nashville. Exact times and ticket information will be released closer to the event. Tickets go on sale on Sept. 8. The Country Radio Hall of Fame is dedicated to the recognition of those individuals who have made significant contributions to the radio industry over a 20-year period, 15 of which must be in the Country format.
