WSOU Hall Of Fame Expands By Three

Thanks to Mark Maben, General Manager of Seton Hall University’s mighty WSOU 89.5 FM, who shared this photo taken at Saturday’s WSOU Hall of Fame induction ceremony that honored three New York radio pros who are all WSOU alumni — Matt Loughlin (’79), Pete Tauriello (’76), and Richard Koziol.

Pictured, (l-r): Scott Pringle, a reporter with NBC News Radio and a news anchor on WOR; Glenn Schuck, 1010 WINS/New York anchor/reporter (and a WSOU Hall of Fame member); legendary traffic reporter Pete Tauriello and traffic reporter and voice of NYC Transit Bernie Wagenblast, one of the original Shadow Traffic voices. Maben said, “Pete gave some very moving remarks about his life in radio and the role WSOU played in launching his career. We also inducted New Jersey Devils play-by-play announcer Matt Loughlin and broadcast engineer Richard Koziol into our Hall of Fame.”
