Rash Of Diaper Donations
Hubbard Radio’s KTMY (myTalk 107.1)/Minneapolis just wrapped its very successful Diaper Drive for Hurricane Relief, collecting 215,000 diapers, blankets, assorted baby clothes and cash for all of those people who have been affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. VP/Market Manager Dan Seaman tells RAMP that generous myTalk 107.1 listeners stopped by two designated locations on Monday and Tuesday, September 11 and 12 and quickly filled a 26-foot truck that is bound for The Texas Diaper Bank in San Antonio. That’s myTalk midday duo Colleen Lindstrom and Bradley Traynor supervising the loading of the truck.
Sponsors and listeners donated an additional $8,500 that will buy diapers and baby supplies for the Texas Diaper Bank as well as the Miami Diaper Bank in Florida. Other notable local donors include Blue Plate Restaurant Group, First Equity Mortgage, White Bear Mitsubishi, Nutritional Weight and Wellness, Kris Lindahl Team and Ungerman Construction and Restoration. Cash donations for Texas relief are still being gratefully accepted online at mytalk1071.com Keyword: diaper.
