Condolences: Charley Romano

We were saddened late yesterday to learn of the passing of Charley Romano, father of Interscope President of Promotion, Brenda Romano — and father-in-law to Interscope’s Chris Lopes. Mr. Romano died on Thursday morning, June 29 at the age of 91. Happily married to his wife, Audrey for over 60 years, Mr. Romano was a devoted and loving father to his daughters, Brenda and Linda, and a proud grandfather of four.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Charley Romano was a World War II veteran and a successful businessman who continued to work well into his eighties. He was known for his kindness and wonderful sense of humor, as well as his passions for fishing and the New York Islanders. Charley will be properly honored at a military funeral on Long Island on Monday.
