• iHeartMedia AC KQXT (Q101.9)/San Antonio announces the return of Premiere-syndicated personality Delilah to the station’s nightly lineup. Beginning Monday, July 3, the program will air from 7-midnight, Sunday through Friday. Delilah was last heard on KQXT on June 27, 2011, and she had been part of the station’s lineup for a decade prior to that.

“We are thrilled to be bringing Delilah back home to Q101.9,” said Brian Gann, iHeartMedia Regional SVP Programming, Austin-San Antonio. “Delilah is an amazing talent who strengthens our already stellar lineup. She is a perfect fit for Q101.9 and for San Antonio.”

UPDATE: The world at large (along with large swatches of North Carolina) has been giddy with anticipation over this week’s big announcement that Ace, half of the Charlotte-based syndicated duo Ace & TJ was planning to “live out his childhood dream of jumping over multiple cars while riding a motorcycle.” This death-defying stunt was scheduled to take place today at “a local motorcycle dealership” in scenic Monroe, NC. However…

Yesterday morning we received this brief, official-looking statement from Tracey Millman, Director of Operations for The Ace & TJ Show, which read, “The Ace jump has been cancelled for June 30th. It continued, “After practicing on location Wednesday evening, Ace’s trainer and the staff at Iron Horse Motorcycles felt Ace wasn’t a strong enough rider to perform the jump he was hoping to.” A deeply disappointed (and partially relieved) Ace commented, “I was told I’m a danger to myself and everyone who attends if I try to do what I set out to do.”
