Entercom Email Still Down

• UPDATED: Entercom is still experiencing a companywide disruption of its online systems, which includes a corporate email outage. While no one is commenting on the record regarding the cause or severity of the situation, several sources have described the state of affairs as a “ransomware attack,” but that fact remains unconfirmed.

Earlier today — using a personal email account — an Entercom spokesperson sent us this brief statement that read, “We are experiencing a disruption of some IT systems, including email. We apologize for any inconvenience and are working around the clock to resolve this issue.”

Emails sent to Entercom addressed continue to generate auto-replies from “Entercom Postmaster” bearing the subject line “Technical Issues” that read: “We are currently experiencing technical issues with our email. Please contact our local markets via phones, or visit our web site at www.entercom.com to find our contact information.”
