• iHeartMedia Alternative WRFF (Radio 104.5)/Philadelphia announced the killer line-up for its 10th annual Birthday Celebration concert, a two-part lovefest that takes place on May 13 and June 11 at the BB&T Pavilion. The May 13 lineup will feature performances by Kings of Leon, Bastille, Empire of the Sun, The 1975, Fitz and the Tantrums and Rag‘n’Bone Man, and the June 11 roster includes The Killers, Bleachers, Foster The People, Kaleo and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. • Cox Media Group Classic Hits WSRV (97.1 The River)/Atlanta celebrates its big 11th birthday on Sunday, July 16 at Verizon Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, GA with a concert from The Steve Miller Band with Peter Frampton! Miller said of his friend Frampton, “Over the years, we’ve played together in venues from theatres to football stadiums and everything in between. He always sets the musical bar high, his band always knocks me out, and I’m thrilled we are going to spend the summer together doing a great run of concerts. • iHeartMedia Active Rock WJRR/Orlando announced the line-up for its Earthday Birthday 24, scheduled for Saturday, April 22 at the Central Florida Fairgrounds — please welcome Sublime with Rome, Alter Bridge, Sevendust, Candlebox, Thrice, Nonpoint, Sick Puppies, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Goodbye June and more TBA, spread across three stages of music, including the JRR Unplugged Acoustic Stage, plus a bunch of other attractions. This year’s festival marks the 24th anniversary of the show. Earthday Birthday is one of the largest locally produced annual rock festivals in the state and draws upwards of 15,000 music lovers from around the globe! A special pre-sale for WJRR Club 101 Members and Earthday Birthday Facebook fans runs through Friday, February 3 at midnight.
