AWM, AWM/F Announces Board, Officers

The Alliance for Women in Media (AWM) and its Foundation (AWM/F) announced its 2022 National Board of Directors and Officers. New to the AWM Board are: Catherine Badalamente, VP & Chief Innovation Officer (Incoming CEO), Graham Media Group; Monica Bloom, VP of Marketing, First Look Media; Thea Mitchem, EVP of Programming, iHeartMedia; Marie Tedesco, CFO, Beasley Media Group. New to the AWM/F Board are: Tim Clarke, SVP, Digital Audio Content, Audacy and Vicki Lins, President & CEO, CTAM.

Officers of the board have been announced as Heather Cohen, EVP, The Weiss Agency, serving as chair; Annie Howell, Chief Communications Officer, Crown Media Family Networks (Hallmark), as incoming chair; Keisha Sutton-James, CEO & Founder, Sutton Button Productions LLC, immediate past chair; Brenda Hetrick, Chief Revenue Officer, Matrix Solutions, treasurer, and Katina Arnold, VP, Corporate Communications, ESPN, incoming treasurer. The following leaders will continue to serve as Directors at Large of AWM: Marsha Cooke, VP & Executive Producer, ESPN Films and 30 for 30; Abby Greensfelder, Founder & CEO, Everywoman Studios; and Katherine Wolfgang, Head of Public Relations, CBC. Svetlana Gans, VP & Associate General Counsel at NCTA; Mike McVay, President, McVay Media; Deborah Parenti, Publisher, Radio Ink, RBR and TVBR; Josie Thomas, former (retired) EVP/Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, CBS, and Christine Travaglini, President, Katz Radio Group; will continue to serve as a Director at Large of AWMF. AWM/F is also pleased to announce Heather Cohen, Annie Howell and Mike McVay will continue to serve as chairs for the Gracie Awards.
