WayFM Welcomes Sedgwick & Weston
• Contemporary Christian network WayFM has hired two seasoned managers to lead its stations in Denver, Colorado Springs, Wichita, and five other markets in the region, effective March 1.
Robyn Sedgwick will serve as General Manager for Colorado and Kansas, and Mike Weston is named Station Manager of Denver. Sedgewick spent the past eight years as GM of Classical KCME and Jazz 93.5 (K228EM)/Colorado Springs. Before that, she was GM of Christian KTLF and The Legacy network, also in Colorado Springs.
In addition to his Denver management duties, Weston will have operational oversight of the eight stations in the region, reporting to Sedgewick. Weston was most recently GM of The Journey, a network of Christian stations based in Lynchburg, VA. Prior to that, he spent 13 years with WHMK/Columbia, SC.
Together, Sedgwick and Weston are filling roles that had been occupied by longtime Way Media Regional Manager Zach Cochran, who left in December to become CEO of The Family Radio Network in Wisconsin.
