Davies Upped To RVP @ Radio One
Radio One Atlanta VP/GM Tim Davies has been promoted to the far more awesome position of Regional Vice President. Davies is a 30-year media management pro who has a proven track record in the expansive Radio One Atlanta market since 2008. As the press release so eloquently states, “Davies’ promotion reflects his success in talent and market management, revenue growth and high performance team development.”
Davies oversees the Radio One Atlanta and the Reach Media operation, which includes Urban WHTA (Hot 107.9), Urban AC WAMJ (Majic 107.5/97.5), Classic Hip Hop Boom 102.9 and Inspirational WPZE (Praise 102.5), four syndicated shows — The Rickey Smiley Morning Show, The Ed Lover Morning Show, The Willie Moore Jr. Show and The Nightly Spirit with Darlene McCoy; a bunch of digital platforms, the local edition of Dish Nation and signature events like Birthday Bash and Praise in the Park, which draw tens of thousands of people annually.
