• Cumulus Media is bringing Bruce Law home to Michigan as the newly named VP/Market Manager for the company’s Grand Rapids group — Top 40 WHTS (105.3 Hot FM), Country WTNR (NASH FM 94.5), Classic Rock 97 WLAV, News-Talk WJRW-AM and Sports-Talk WBBL-FM.

Law (left) is a Michigan native who most recently for Saga Communications in Asheville, NC in the dual role of President, Saga Communications of NC and VP/GM. Prior to that, Law was Market President for Townsquare Media in Quad Cities, IA/IL.

Bob Walker, Executive Vice President, Operations, Cumulus Media, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Bruce back home to Grand Rapids. • Mt. Rushmore Broadcasting has acquired the talents of veteran broadcaster Kevin Barrett to serve as General Manager of the company’s properties in scenic Casper, WY — KASS-FM, KQLT-FM, KHOC-FM, KMLD-FM and KVOC-AM. Barrett will also have management oversight of the company’s other properties: KRAL-AM & KIQZ-FM/Rawlins, WY, KZMX-AM FM/Hot Springs, SD and KFCR-AM/Custer, SD.

In making the announcement, Mt. Rushmore President Jan Charles Gray said, “We are excited that Kevin Barrett has been appointed our new General Manager. He brings years of programming and sales experience in many different venues, and his diverse experience will continue our excellence and community service to Wyoming and South Dakota.”

Barrett’s previous programming stops include KTRB/San Francisco, KEEL/Shreveport, LA, KSEQ (Q97)/Fresno, KABZ/Little Rock, AR and KTRS/St. Louis. “I’m thrilled to be in Casper,” he said. “We have a dynamic array of brands, and there are many opportunities for growth. I’m especially excited about working with the great Mt. Rushmore team.” Barrett added, “This is a wonderful community, and I look forward to being a part of it.”
