Futuri Ups Manuel & Page
Futuri Media announced the promotion of Peabody Award-winning broadcast news exec Jill Manuel to Product Manager of TopicPulse, and the creation of a team of radio format-specific content writers, which will be led by longtime sports-talk radio host and writer Jason Page.
In her new role, Manuel (left) will lead the team behind TopicPulse, which scans Facebook, Twitter, and over 100,000 verified sources of news and information to provide data-driven insights that aid in story selection. Prior to joining Futuri in 2016, Manuel held senior leadership roles at WFLD and WBBM-AM/Chicago, Fox News in New York and Washington, WEWS/Cleveland and other outlets.
Page (left) joins Futuri’s TopicPulse team as Content Manager, where he heads a team of writers who monitor TopicPulse’s real-time social insights and write data-driven topic starter ideas for its radio clients. Page has nearly 20 years experience writing and hosting sports- and news-related radio programming for NBC Sports Radio, ABC News, ESPN Radio, and more. “TopicPulse is a powerful tool for anyone charged with creating engaging live content for radio or TV,” said Futuri Media CEO Daniel Anstandig. “Elevating Jill, with her incredible television and journalism background, and bringing on Jason and the team of radio veterans with format-specific expertise will make TopicPulse an even more powerful tool for broadcasters.”
