Kingston Selling WRNR/Annapolis

• After a successful quarter-century run, Steve Kingston‘s Empire Broadcasting System, Inc. announced it’s selling Triple A 103.1 WRNR/Grasonville-Annapolis, MD to Peter and John Fellowship, Inc. for $1.54 million. The buyer owns Christian Talk/Contemporary Christian duo WRBS-AM & FM/Baltimore, and you can probably guess what’s in store for 103.1…

Kingston commented, “After 25 years in one of the most incredible cities in America, it’s time for us to sail on and search for our next opportunity. Though we have sold the station and frequency, we own the intellectual property, including the format and the call letters, and are exploring other opportunities for WRNR on the FM dial and through digital distribution.
