Changes In Sunny San Diego

Entercom Gold-based AC KXSN (Sunny 98.1)/San Diego announces some significant personnel shifts to better serve the listeners and advertisers — the action begins in morning drive, as PD Brooks O’Brian moves up into middays; current 9am-2pm personality Dawne Davis comes off-air to focus on her Production duties; market icon Gene Knight remains in afternoon drive and current evening entertainer Nick Upton also comes off the air to become master of his digital domain.

Market vet Dave Mason, who had been doing part-time on Sunny, will ultimately take over the night show, but has agreed to cover mornings until a new wake-up show is named, and Dorothy Tran will handle the night show in the interim.
