Sweet Summer Shows
• iHeartMedia’s WXKS (Kiss 108)/Boston unveiled the lineup for what is widely considered to be the granddaddy of summer radio shows, Kiss Concert 2018 — Backstreet Boys,Dua Lipa, Alessia Cara, 5 Seconds of Summer, Marshmello, MAX, Bebe Rexha, Bazzi and Jack & Jack will take the stage on Sunday, June 17 at the Xfinity Center in suburban Mansfield, MA.
The announcement was made yesterday by longtime Kiss 108 morning host Matt Siegel, who said, “Kiss Concertis always my favorite time of the year. The Kiss Concertis one of the longest running radio station shows in the country and it all started here in Boston!” Dylan Sprague, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Boston, commented, “Kiss Concertis the official kick-off to the summer concert season in Boston. This year’s line-up will bring the biggest songs on Kiss 108 to life on the Kiss Concertstage.”
Pre-sale to Kiss Club members begins today at 10am ET and will run through Friday at 9am ET — or while supplies last. Any remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10am ET via Ticketmaster.com. One dollar of each ticket sold will be donated to the non-profit Genesis Foundation.
• Entercom Rocker KISW/Seattle announced that for the first time ever its annual summer concert, Pain in The Grass, would expand to three full daysat White River Amphitheatre, August 24 through 26. The lineup will include Alice in Chains, Avenged Sevenfold, Slayer, Stone Temple Pilots, Prophets of Rage, Bush, Three Days Grace, The Cult and a bunch more.
“We are over-the-top excited to partner with Live Nation to bring our listeners the biggest Pain in The Grassshow ever,” said Jack Hutchison, SVP/Market Manager of Entercom Seattle.
Tickets to each day of the festival, including a limited number of three-day tickets, will be available at ticketmaster.com this Friday, April 6, at 10am PT. KISW will also offer special “experiential packages” for sale via RockPerks.com. These packages include “The Palace Law Premium Experience,” “BJ & Migs Party” and “The Men’s Room Happy Hour and a Half.”
