It’s Majic: ‘The Mark Nolan Show’

• iHeartMedia Classic Hits WMJI (Majic 105.7)/Cleveland just launched The Mark Nolan Show, weekdays from 5-10am. This newly created show is built around current morning host Mark Nolan, who is joined by a couple of additional native Clevelanders, Emmy award-winning reporter Jen Picciano and Krystle Elyse, who crosses the hall from nights on Top 40 WAKS (96.5 Kiss FM).

Nolan has more than 25 years of broadcast experience, including nearly 20 years as a television meteorologist and anchor at WKYC-TV and WOIO-TV. He joined WMJI in 2012 to do middays; In March 2014, after the retirement of market legend John Lanigan, Nolan was upped to host of the rebranded Nolan, Malone & Kullik Morning Show. Last month, the show began a retooling process, as longtime co-hosts Chip Kullik and Tracey Carroll exited, while 30-year co-host Jimmy Malone will soon be launching The Jimmy Malone Show over on Fox Sports sister WARF (1350 The Gambler). He will also do Saturday mornings on WMJI and continue to appear each Thursday morning on The Mark Nolan Show with his long-running feature, “Knuckleheads in the News.”

“There isn’t a friendlier or more familiar face in Cleveland media than Mark Nolan,” said Keith Hotchkiss, Market President of iHeartMedia Cleveland. “Mark embodies the spirit of our community and is a proponent for all things Cleveland. We’re thrilled to launch The Mark Nolan Show and are excited to have found both Jen and Krystle as contributors.” Nolan said, “I’m thrilled to launch this new show on a station that means so much to Cleveland. Getting to do a morning show in your hometown is an incredible honor. I look forward to informing and entertaining the city I love for years to come.”
