• Adams Radio Group of Ft. Wayne, IN is bringing Hip-Hop back the market with the launch of with Loud 103.3. The new station debuted at 5pm Thursday on WJFX-HD2/W277AK, replacing Gold-based Active Rock 103.3 The Fort. Check out the launch video.

Loud 103.3 personality Big Kess, affectionately known as “The Voice of the City,” said, “Bringing Hip-Hop back to the radio means that all people are now being served by local radio. I’m proud to be a part of Fort Wayne’s Hip Hop station.”

Operations Manager JJ Fabini commented, “I couldn’t be more excited about Loud 103.3. Our city has sorely been missing a Hip-Hop outlet for years, an entire segment of our population didn’t have a radio station to call their own, and Adams is thrilled for the opportunity to serve the community with this new venture.”


• After a day of Halloween stunting, Alpha Media Top 40 KEEZ-FM (Z99)/Mankato, MN turned the temperature down ever so slightly to Hot AC and rebranded as Mix 99.1, targeting that lucrative 25-54 demo.

Jim Lowe, Market Manager of Alpha Media Mankato, commented, “The new Mix 99.1 is exactly what the name implies, a solid mix of the right music. Combine that with [morning duo] Brad and Sarah‘s Mankato hometown roots and local experience, and this is a radio station whose time to shine is right now.
