New Day Dawns In St. Louis
• For the first time in four decades, Entercom Hot AC KYKY (Y98)/St. Louis has a new morning show — the company announced that Courtney Landrum, (second from right), the longtime co-host of the former Phillips & Company morning show, has been signed to a contract extension and will how anchor the newly rebranded Courtney and Company. Current castmates (l-r): Lance Hildebrand, Jen Myers and Kevin “The Intern” Berghoff remain on the show, which airs weekdays from 5:30-10am. Landrum succeeds market fixture Guy Phillips, who stepped down last November and will debut in afternoon drive next Monday across the street on News-Talk KTRS-AM 550.
“Courtney has always been a lead voice on the morning show and shines due to her hard work, wit and dedication,” said John Sheehan, SVP/Market Manager, Entercom St. Louis. “She is an icon in the St. Louis community and we are thrilled to have her on board to engage our morning listeners with her wonderful energy.”
Landrum began her radio career as producer of the Steve and DC Morning Show in the ’90s. She joined Y98 in 1999 as producer and co-host of the Phillips and Company morning show and has been there ever since. “I’m thrilled to start this new chapter of my career with Entercom and to carry the torch,” said Landrum. “After being a part of different morning shows in the local St. Louis community for the past 25 years, I’m happy and humbled to have the opportunity to continue entertaining our audience each weekday morning on Y98.”
